Why is courage so rare?

I think most everyone has to have and show courage at some point. Courage is different for everyone. Everyone has at least a little bit. Its really just a matter of a single persons life and what they do with it and how they do it that is courage. Life is tough and the moment that a person understands this and fights it anyway it courage. Making the best out of what you have and not just giving in to what you think is handed to you is quite something for anyone. Just believing in yourself is seen as courage now because its such a rare thing but also so important.
