What is with popular people?

One other time I was on Skype and this group of popular people called me out of nowhere. (This was during the school year) And talked to me and stuff. Then just today this popular girl called me like Oh heyyy! Then she like started giggling when her popular friend asked who she was talking to. Idek because they don't even talk to me during the school year and act like I don't even exist but you call me on Skype then like hang up, whattheheck? Why do popular kids do this to just sorta make fun of unpopular kids? Just leave me alonee if you're not gonna act real :/
