Futbol in the USA. Your thoughts?

I am just wondering how citizens of other countries view the USAs lack of interest in football (soccer). Do you mock us and think we are crazy for not loving the worlds most popular sport? are you jealous because we have american football, and you wish you did as well? or do you love the fact that it is unpopular in the US, and would RATHER it stay that way?
