My dad has a trucking job and brings home good income so we have a good house with multiple rooms with multiple beds. I'm just really tired of who I am. My parents think I have no friends but I really do?

My parents are weird. They think I have no friends, but I really do. I have tons of friends, since I am just a generally nice person, and I try to be outgoing, and everyone I know thinks I'm a nice person with a nice personality. I think they still live in the generation they grew up in, where guys did their thing and girls did their thing, and guys and girls weren't just "friends" that would go and do stuff together; well, most of my best friends are girls. I get along with girls better, but I'm not gay; I have a girlfriend, but I don't really want to tell my parents. They get mad whenever I mention hanging out with a girl, and they want me to hang out with a guy. They keep saying "you need to make some male friends," and I do have male friends, but I'm just not going to hang out with someone I'm not really good friends with. Whenever they say "you need more male friends," I say that I do, which is true, and they say name one. I hesitate, because I don't have really good friends that are guys, but more that are just colleagues. I think they don't realize that things aren't like they used to be when they were my age. Also, I live in an area where its mainly rednecks, and thats basically what my parents were growing up, and I have always been different. I tend to dress nicely, clean myself often, and keep to myself when necessary. Most guys at my school are the opposite, as they would rather go hunting or play video games or go four-wheeling or something, which I don't care to do. My parents, though, say that if I had more guy friends, that it would "help me." I have no idea why they would say this, because I am happy the way my life is now. I work in KY. Health care business I work 9-10 hour days. I am paid for my 30 minute Lunch period. The Problem: My director dictates to us that we must sit in a certain area by our patients and talk and visit with them as we eat. The patients sit and eat with us at the same time. Just because we are paid our lunch can the director tell us where to sit and what to do on our lunch break?????????? we are paid our lunch because several times we must get up and do something for a patient. Yet it seems that we should have the opportunity to sit where we want and talk to who we want such as other employees (or make personal calls) as we would want with out being dictated what we can do because she pays us for our lunch. Why don't I feel normal? Please can I have some serious answers?

I head seems so messed up. I haven't cut myself in a little less than a year but when I did cut myself I felt so happy. It hurt to cut myself, but once it was done I felt so good. Like a whole lot of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I have really vivid dreams of me killing people or people dieing. There are times where I try to save them from the enemy. I feel so depressed at times which has sometimes led to an anxiety attack. I am a patient person and always have a smile on my face. For as far back as 5th grade, I have bottled up my emotions. When I am angry I am full of rage and feel like I am on the brink of snapping and losing it. I cannot even remember the last time I cried.I workout out and run 6 days a week. I am a healthy 23 year old 5'10 1/2" and 180lbs. Sometimes I get so depressed I do not even want to eat. When I close my eyes I feel the emotional pain.I no longer sleep because I have this pain in my shoulder and neck and sometimes lower pack to the point where I cannot sleep. What is weird is the pain will one day be on my right side and then the next be on my left side and both in the same spot. The pain is not from working out because I do it with perfect form. Maybe this is where I store my stress, I don't know. Deep down inside I feel so empty and lifeless. I have NEVER had suicidal thoughts. So when I did go to cut myself, everything just seemed like it stopped and slowed down a bit. It felt great but I knew it wasn't good for me.Then again things do seem to go at a faster pace then they should be. What the hell is wrong with me?

I was once a translator for drs & patients for after hr services. my aunt thought it would be a good idea if i started to come to all the appt. i didnt mind i like helping my grandma & anyone who needs translating. by the time of my gmas surgery they needed someone who spoke english&knew my gmas med hitory. all my aunts & uncles & my grandpa dont speak english. and my grandma is 82 & illiterate. so i said i can go in with her. i was with her for about 3 hrs translating, signing papers and explaining things to my gma. was with her in preop room.saw her go in the operating room. surgeon called me on cell to let me know how everything went when surgery was over etc. ive been following up with the drs. i am practically the only person who knows dr names and her rx info. there were some complications in my gmas surgery & in order to save her life they had to put in a IVC filter. i explained to my gma and she said its fine sweety sign...i did. everything was a success! first my probation officer issues a warrant for my arrest; 2 hours later i show up to his office. he tells me i have not paid on my fines($1933.00) and i failed to report.so, i get arrested and he told me sense i completed my community service( which i volunteered for) i can bond out in means of paying my entire fine(cash only). so, my mom managed to pay my fine given that i'm in college and she didn't want me to be dropped from school. now that i'm released from jail my probation officer told me i still have to go to court to revoke my conditional discharge. now let me state the facts, on January 3,2010 i was arrested for shoplifting,obstruction, and false information to a police officer. yes! indeed this was very stupid, however the judge felt that since it was my first time in trouble and i was still in high school with good grades she gave me a second chance. i was given 2 years probation and if i completed it, my record will continue to stay clear. i must admit my probation officer has been very patient with me, however, i live in a very small town in south Georgia; so getting a job was very difficult and majority of the first year of my probation i was pregnant. all i have positive in my life is that i'm in college with a gpa of 3.3. i have hopes of graduating with a b.a. in sociology and to become a social worker, juvenile counselor or probation officer. besides that while i'm getting my degree i want to join the army and learn about information technology and hopefully get a couple of certifications to become a computer specialist or something of that nature. i go to court July 19 to see if i am able to keep my conditional discharge so my record will remain clear. my question is what usually happens at the revocation hearing? and if the judge does decide to take away my conditional discharge will i still be able to enlist in the army? what can i possibly say or do to keep this conditional discharge?

Lebron James is 26 but actually has less time to win a championship than someone who is 26 but went to college for a few years. The reason I think this is because I look at Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett and I think they both reached their peak earlier in their careers and it seems like their bodies are falling apart faster than other players because NBA season are almost three times as long as a college season. I know it's a small sample size but it's an opinion I have about NBA players who come out of high school.

Why Do Doctors In Arkansas act like Patients are Idiots?

I was referred to EVER TOUCHED my body and told me there was trouble with C-3, C-4 , C-5 and C-6 in my neck. And narrowing in 6 places of my spine. He said he could see something wrong with either my heart or lungs. There was clouding over my neck area where my neck joins my body. He never once touched my body or my spine at anytime. Told me he wanted me to have a Chest, Lung and Heart Xray done to see what was wrong. But then in the next sentence said he wanted me walking 3 mile 3 times a day. Said I was a little over weight. I know this. I have degenerative bone disease of my hips and walking across the floor is a Challenge most days. Just getting off the bed of a morning is painful. I wake up at least 3 times a night in pain. He told me to take Ibprofen for the pain. And sent me to physical therapy for some exercises for my neck and back. And they want me to get this traction device to put 20 pounds of traction on my neck 4 times a day for 30 minutes at a time. I told him I had trouble even walking 25 maybe 50 feet to my mailbox without being in such pain In my hip I wanted to scream. I got to the mailbox one day last week and almost past out from the shooting pain in my left hip. It feel like the Ball is trying to break off my hip bone or my pelvic bone is breaking. But he did not even seem to care. I asked what was causing the Numbness in my arms and legs and he basically said because I was fat and Lazy. And never answered any of my Questions. All he said was that what I have is Hereditary I got it from my mother and my ancestors. I said what do I have and he said Exercise is the key do it for 6 months to stregthen my back and then we will see if we need to do surgery.
