Sounds like pretty typical teen angst. Your parents are adults, if they couldn't afford it they wouldn't do it and your dad wouldn't buy you the phone if he didn't think you deserved it. It's normal to feel insecure and want to be a lone sometimes. Maybe you just need someone to talk to?
