How do I make my hair grow longer faster?

Mmkay. So, I got a hair cut a couple months ago (it's super cute but, I miss my long hair). People say to like put avocado in your hair but, I'm allergic to avocados! D: So, am I hosed and just have to be patient or, is there hope?
