Why is the press so dumb when it comes to NBA best player debates? (highly partial against few as well)?

well, 1st off, pippen is a former player, not press. but the only reason there could be a debate that lebron is better than mj is because who did lebron have before miami? shaq was already declining, verijau isnt amazing, mo williams isnt a good of a robin that pippen (top 50 all time) was and it took a shorter time to get to a finals than it took mj. it took 4 years for lbj and what, 7 or 8 for mj? but outside of that, there is no way lebron is better. but also, lebron hasnt been in the league for nearly as long. this time in mjs career, he had 1 or 2 rings. as for nowitzki, i agree with you... and hes my favorite nba player ever. but i think he is the best euro player in the nba/ best player (who didnt play in the usa until the nba) to play the game.
