Why do Gays/Lesbians pay taxes?

It doesn't make sense to me? We are denied rights but taxes are still being taken out of our checks. Illegal immigrants seem to have more rights than we do. A sex offender or rapist in jail can get married but a lesbian doctor who does her part serving cancer patients is dented her full right. They say that church & state is seperate but then they go back to it. People need to understand that not every single person in the USA is a Christian, using the bible isn't fair because of the fact that if I'm a Buddhist or Jewish I could careless about your Christian beliefs.
