Schooling required for cognitive behavioral Psychotherapy?

I have a Master's Degree in Psychology, so I can tell you what you'll need to do. The area you're interested in is very specialized and you'll most likely need a PhD or a PsyD to do it, but you still have to go through all the regular schooling first, no matter what area of Psychology you want to pursue. If you haven't already gotten your undergraduate degree in Psychology, you'll need to do that. Second, graduate school for Psychology. After that, you apply for a doctoral program and work as an intern until you complete your dissertation and receive your PhD or PsyD. Be sure whatever school(s) you choose are reputable and fully accredited. Good luck!
